SPEAKER
PROGRAMME INFORMATION
In
recent years, Derry Brabbs has established a reputation as
an accomplished speaker whose presentations are a visual
delight. His audiences are captivated by a combination of
outstanding photography and informative narrative, delivered
in a relaxed, humorous style.
Talks are generally structured to last approximately 45 minutes
and be illustrated by around 80 colour slides, but as each
lecture is individually created for a specific event, shorter
or extended versions can be easily created.
Derry’s clients to date have included Ladies Luncheon
Clubs, Photographic, Literary and Lecture Societies, charity
fund raising events and he has also featured regularly as guest
author/lecturer on board Cunard's QE2, Queen Mary 2 and the
yachts of Seabourn.
Although most function rooms can be readily manipulated to
accommodate a projector and screen, there may be occasions
when it becomes impracticable. In that eventuality, the largely
autobiographical, 'One Leg Short of a Tripod', is the ‘one
size fits all’ solution, as it has a purely spoken version,
no less colourful than its illustrated counterparts!
